When Obama refused to get involved in Libya everyone including idiotic Republicans like pseudo hero McCain were critical and downright nasty about it. History proved Obama right. History will prove once again that Obama’s refusal to get involved militarily in Syria is indeed the correct policies to pursue.  In fact, the Libyans and the Egyptians and the rest of the religious extremists in that part of the world are already validating Obama’s foreign policy decisions as the events in Benghazi and Cairo prove.   

I am sure you all know the fable of the dog who bit the hand that fed him and subsequently was left outside to his ultimate doom….so the Egyptians and their brethren Libyans, Tunisians, Sudanese, Lebanese, etc. etc. etc. are now destined to the same folly. They just bit the hand that feeds them, the hand of their benefactors – the American taxpayer. 

These Muslim governments stand to lose billions of dollars in aid which will make their miserable lives even more so.  If they think they live in poverty now….well, wait until the American congress cuts off all that beautiful American money that subsidises their existence.  I guess a mad dog chasing his tail does eventually catch it and bites it off. 

Hellooooo…all you Republican nincompoops suffering from political OCD (and that’s 90% of you) who are so bound and determined to get involved in Syria- helloooo!   Time to open your eyes, shut your mouths (if that’s possible) and observe what is happening all-over the Muslim world.

Listen here you pot smoking gun tooting thump sucking Bible wavers  – the recent events in Libya and Egypt show that it doesn’t matter what we do for these people someone or some  group will always have it in for us.  We help one group and we piss off another.  There is no winning.  The best thing for us to do is to stay out of their conflicts, out of their lands and out of their internal affairs.  Muslims have been killing each other for 1500 years and if they are not killing each other, they are out to kill us.  They will not stop now, or in another 1500 years from now.  The nature and laws of their religion are such that the modernization of its ideology the moderation of its practice, and the evolution and ascension of its culture into the 21^st century becomes an exercise in futility with permanent residency in the time and place of its birth.

So remind me again why we are supposed to be helping Syrians, Libyans, Egyptians or any other Arab country for “spring, summer winter or fall?”  We freed Iraqis and they turned on us. We freed Afghans and they turned on us, we helped free the Libyans and they turned on us.  What is it you don’t get- especially you Mr. Romney?

Now, I know you Republicans have big heads full of big ideas- but is there any matter inside those heads or just hot air?  This is the Middle East and these are Muslims we are talking about. Nothing makes them feel closer to Allah than the killing of infidels.  Infidels Mr. Romney….infidels.  That’s US.  That’s you and me and everyone who is not a Muslim.

When you know the “puppy” you save today will be the “dog” that bites and kills you tomorrow, that should be your reason for pause and reflection.  So when you say that Obama leads from behind,   I suggest you pause and reflect.  Reflect on the events of the last few days.

In this writer’s view we should leave Muslims alone and let them resolve their own problems, their own way on their own time and terms.  The price of democracy is high and can only be achieved with the ultimate sacrifice.  If the Arabs do not want to make that sacrifice and liberate themselves, WE shouldn’t either.  

REAL democracy can only be achieved through personal and collective sacrifice…it cannot be “gifted”. So let’s get out of that hell-hole called Middle East before it becomes OUR resting place. Our FINAL Resting place.
