| Bashar al Assad The Nazi salute! |
Does it sound familiar? If not let me refresh your memory…
Jean Kambanda (Rwanda, 1994), Idi Amin (Uganda, 1969-1979), Harold McMillans (Britain, 1952-56, Kenya's Mau-Mau rebellion), Leopold II of Belgium (Congo, 1886-1908), the Great War of Africa (1998),Saddam Hussein ( Iraq 1980-1990) Pol Pot Cambodia (1975-1979), Slobodan Milosevic (Yugoslavia, 1992-99)...
and let’s not forget the 1982 Hama and 1980 Aqyol massacres, ordered by Hafez al Assad (Bashar’s Father) where an estimated 7000 to 10,000 and 2000 people respectively were killed.. just to mention a few.
It makes one wonder why we need such a costly, ineffective organization whose ability to function can be paralyzed with a single veto by just one of the five permanent members of the security council. The security council consists of 15 members (five permanent plus 10 elected by the general assembly for a two year term) and regardless of how the vote breaks down on a specific issue, as long as ONE of the five permanent members votes NO…no action can be taken. The General Assembly consists of 193 member countries but if just one of the “Perma Five” uses its veto to a resolution, that resolution dies in its crib. This is a really democratic organization. And if you think the United States Congress is infested with lobbyist you should check the UN. Like I said…useless costly incompetent and CORRUPT.
Six thousand Syrians have been massacred so far and no concrete action has been taken by the UN. Russia and China used their veto last week and the resolution on Syria died in its tracks even though thirteen of the fifteen members voted yes. In the meanwhile men women and children in Syria are being massacred day and night and all the international community is able to do is express their condemnation of the Assad regime. Fucking unbelievable just FUCKING UNBELIEVABLE.
Signing Off…Dr. Politikong

Why people are so upset and worried about the killings in Syria is beyond me. These are the same people who not so long ago were anti-American anti-European, anti-Jewish, anti-everything non-Muslim. Now they are killing each other and everybody wants to help them. Why? Not that long ago they were building a nuclear reactor-most likely for military use, with the help of the North Koreans and the Iranians. The Israelis put a stop to that thank god. So why we want to stop them from killing each other is as I said beyond me. They are doing the same job as we would if we went in to force regime change. The only difference is this is costing us nothing...no financial cost or life cost to us or the West. Leave them alone. Their destiny should not be interfered with. If the anti-Assad forces win, and eventually I am sure they will, Syria will be more democratic and stronger having the hindsight of the hardship and bloodshed they endured to get their freedom. If we go in and hand it to them, they will not appreciate their own revolution. Revolutions which are accomplished by outside help usually fail as the oppressed become the oppressors. Democracy which is accomplished by the people themselves is stronger and longer lasting.

Mr. Kong I absolutely agree with your assesment of the UN. It is the most fucking useless organization on earth. Very well put.

We should withdraw from the UN and the money we pay to them, give it to the Syrian rebels to buy food, guns and medicine. UN is useless you are right on bro
