Let’s get one thing straight here people regarding the Hilary Rosen’s statement that Ann Romney never worked a day in her life.  There is nothing untrue about that statement regardless of how hard the pundits are trying to spin it and play the sympathy card by portraying Ann Romney as a victim.  It seems that their justification for their idiotic comments is that she (Ann) raised 5 kids, while she was going through MS and breast cancer.  Whoop dee doo! 

What they failed to mention is that Ann Romney had house maids who helped her with the kids and the overall maintenance of the house as well as her ailments.  They had hired illegal immigrants who handled the landscaping and exterior upkeep of their home and perform other work around the house.  In her husband’s own words…  she had “a couple of Cadillacs” which I am sure she used to drive to and from her upscale tea parties, brunches with other 1%ders, special dinners with “special” friends and other social events people of her financial/social stature engage in.  

Don’t get me wrong I don’t begrudge the Romnies for their wealth. Nor do I begrudge them for having the money to acquire all the comforts and luxuries they want.  I don’t begrudge them for having the financial means to indulge in the finer things of life. They were successful academically, financially and socially. They earned it.  More power to them. That’s what we all aspire to for ourselves and our children. So that is not the point.

The point is that Hilary Rosen was right in saying that Ann never worked a day in her life…at least not the kind of work that most people do.  It does not sound to me like Ann Romney was a hard working woman as defined by society.  If the comfort level and luxury in which she lived is what hard work is supposed to be… then I will give all my major organs (especially the valuable ones) to be in her place.
Furthermore, Ann Romney is not the only woman with five kids and major physical problems - so please don’t use that as the bait to get the sympathy vote.  There are thousands of people with similar family and health situations as Ann Romney.  The difference is that most of those people don’t have the financial means to hire the domestic help Ann Romney has nor do they have the money to get the medical care that she gets.

Having said that, I must also point out the hypocrisy and two-face epidemic of the Republicans and their surrogates, who didn’t have the balls to stand up to Rush “the fat ass” Limbaugh when he called Sandra Fluke a whore and a slut. They whipped-creamed and danced around that issue in the forest of bum-buddies and tooth ferries but never really rejected or condemned Limbaugh’s statements…except Rick Santorum. The rest of the wolf pack were trying to explain and justify the fat ass’s comments as “…he’s a show man…”, “…he is an entertainer…” and a whole lot of other bullshit. I don’t recall Mrs. Romney coming out in support of Sandra Fluke with any strong statements of condemnation then.  In fact I don’t recall any goddamn Republican coming out with strong statements of rejection or apology of any kind. Sincere or insincere. 
So if all these pundits are trying to get some political sympathy for Mr. and Mrs. Romney, let me assure you,  the national airwaves is not where they will find it. They will find it in the dictionary between the entries “shit and syphilis”.  And that’s the reality.

In the final analysis Hilary Rosen should have never apologised and neither should have any democrat on her behalf.   So… Ann Romney suck it up and move on and the rest of  all you thumb-sucking conservative pundits who  think you can get political traction with independent and undecided female voters by politicizing Mrs. Rosen’s comments;   do us all a favor and find a real issue to discuss on your shows, because this one has already ran out of steam.  In fact the reaction of Real Americans shows that it is backfiring on the Republican propagandists.
