"Muslim On Muslim" - The Iraq War Sequel!

Now that the American war in Iraq is over, the REAL war in Iraq begins…the Civil War. The war, we all knew would be inevitable going into Iraq and we most definitely knew it would be inevitable coming out of Iraq. This is the war where Iraqis

kill Iraqis because they follow different versions of Islam.
America, get your popcorn, sit back and watch the results of your interference. You are about to watch the newest real life action movie called “Muslim on Muslim” the Sequel. This is the movie that will teach our damn politicians and Generals that meddling in other nations’ internal affairs because WE deem it right does not always work.  In fact, it never works. It didn’t work in Vietnam, it didn’t work in Afghanistan, it didn’t work in Iran, Iraq, Chile, Korea Argentina, Palestine or anywhere else we stuck our nose in.  We have to stop using our “national interest” as an excuse to interfere. We have to stop sending our soldiers into the burning fires of hell under the pretence of helping free a people from their oppressors. This is the movie that will teach American Generals to stay out of religious wars – especially Islamic Religious wars. They don’t end. They don’t result in peace of any kind.  The only time sectarian conflicts end is when one group dominates the other usually by deadly force. As I have said so many times before, the problem is not the Muslim people it is their religion…ISLAM.  A Muslim will defend his version of Islam literally “to the death”… his own or his enemy’s. Muslims have been killing each other since the birth of Islam; and they will keep killing each other until there is no more killing to be done. It is unfortunate so much life has to be wasted, so much blood has to be spilled in the name of god, but that’s the reality in that part of the world. They are extremely devout and deadly passionate in their beliefs. Beliefs which are forced fed to them from birth. It is a religious brainwashing unequalled by any.  A   brainwashing, the roots of which go to the depths of their soul.  Unless we are directly attacked or our own security is being threatened, we should stay out of domestic Middle East conflicts.  Five days out of Iraq and the human carnage has already began.  It is sad that Muslim people cannot see past their religious differences and live in peace with one another…but at the same time we should not allow that to become our problem.  A Muslim life is as valuable as any life but getting involved in their conflicts just adds fuel to the fire and makes things worse.
We can only hope the Iraqi people put their religious differences aside and live in peace.  Somehow, though, I doubt it.  The history of that region tells me otherwise. You can change regimes but you can’t change attitudes.  We went into Iraq to facilitate political change and we are coming out of Iraq having facilitated a sectarian civil war…I wonder how this movie will end.

  2. That is so true. The Americans came into my country and stirred up more hate and destruction and death than we had under Saddam.

  3. "Muslim on Muslim". That says it all. That three word statement Mr Politikong describes the Middle East today better than all the media articles I read or heard on news channels.
Thank for pointing out what most of my Muslim brothers have been blinded to.

  4. The path to hell is paved in good intentions, right?

The fact of the matter is that regardless of USA presence in Iraq, sectarian differences would have resulted in violence inevitably. It has already happened or in progress across that region and south asia as well.

Islam will destroy itself, it's simply a matter of patience and time.
