Islam: A Religion Frozen In Time

The difference between Christianity and Islam is the fact that Christianity as most other religions, evolved, adapted and progressed throughout the centuries - whereas Islam has remained socially stagnant and regressive, theologically intolerant and violent, politically abrasive and oppressive. Hence,
we are faced today with a religious ideology which adheres to the same decrees and dogmas of intransigence and intolerance it had, when it first manifested itself and was struggling to expand and survive.  All religious and political ideologies when they first make their appearance, possess an element of violence, as indeed, it is necessary in order to survive the resistance from already existing competitors.  While though, all religious and political ideologies in history, once they reach a certain level of acceptance and established following become more progressive and tolerant, Islam has maintained the same characteristics as it inherited at birth…intransigence, intolerance and extreme dogmatically decreed violence.  Those Muslims who have realized that humanity is not a part of their ideology but rather their ideology is a part of humanity…those Muslims have evolved, progressed, adapted and moved on, to coexist peacefully with the rest of the global community. So in conclusion, one can safely say that Islam has been frozen in time. Muslims are not the cause of the violence we witness today against Western and non-Islamic ideologies… ISLAM is.  And until such time as Islam and its extremist followers exit the infancy of their religious beliefs and enter the adulthood of the 21^st century peaceful coexistence, WE, the non-Muslim people of the world have to defend ourselves with ANY means possible-VIOLENCE NOT EXCLUDED!
