The Revolution is just about over…The Genocide is just about to begin!

“We are coming tonight,” Colonel Qaddafi said. “You will come out from inside. Prepare yourselves from tonight. We will find you in your closets.”

By the time the Western democracies come to a decision regarding the Libyan situation, Gadhafi’s armies will have crashed the revolution and be well on their way to purging the opposition thus starting the first systematic and methodical genocide of the 21st century.

In Gadhafi’s own words he “will show no mercy.” Once again the UN has shown its ineffectiveness, indifference, bureaucratic stagnancy, political castration and social apathy. We, in the west, do best what we do best, and that is…stick our heads in the sand and convince ourselves that “if we can’t see it, it’s not happening.” After all why should we treat the Libyans any different than we did the Armenians, the Jews, the Ugandans the Rwandans, the Kenyans, the Congolese, the Kurds, the Cambodians, the Kosovians and the list goes on and on and on. Shame on the UN!

This time we can’t blame it on the Americans and we cannot blame it on the Jews. However, we certainly can blame it on the Europeans, and the Arabs. On one hand we have the idiotic French and Brits. They are always big on talk and small on action. Always the first to start beating the drums of war and always the first to raise the white flag. They have shown in the past that they never do anything unless the Americans are there to bail them out. Of course we can’t forget the Russians and Chinese who always put their financial and strategic interests above all else. They veto every resolution as long as they believe that it gives them an economic and political advantage over all others. On the other hand, we have the Arabs. You know… those brothers who are always united in their efforts to destroy Israel and its Western allies in the name of Islam, but are not willing to save their own Muslim brothers and sisters from being massacred by a psychopathic narcissistic megalomaniac like Muammar Gadhafi. Oh yeah…Libyan Muslim brothers killing each other but nobody from the Islamic world is willing to stop it. They want the Americans and the Europeans to do it. This inaction can only leave a big stigma on Muslims everywhere.

Are we to believe that Egypt, the most powerful Arab country in the region, along with the Saudis, the Jordanians the Syrians, the Moroccans, Tunisians, Algerians and many others cannot put together a military force to stop this [Gadhafi] maniac? Are we to believe that the Arab League can’t on its own, establish a no-fly zone to protect their brethren from being massacred? After all, this is an Arab conflict taking place in Arab lands, over Arab issues. Isn’t it somewhat hypocritical to be asking the Euro-Americans to sacrifice their people in order to save the lives of the same Muslim brothers who for decades have been attacking and killing Westerners in the name of Islam? Shame on the Arab League!

In the final analysis I am not in any way JUSTIFYING the inaction of the West. It is stupid, it is inhumane, and it is shameful. If Gadhafi keeps to his word and fills the streets of Libya with blood, the West, once again will go down in history as having stood by while another madman was committing genocide. Even more so I am not in any way willing to EXCUSE the Arab world for standing by passively while Libyan men women and children are being massacred by another Hitler right in their backyard!
