I cannot believe I just wasted five minutes of my life listening to former Secretary of Education W. J. Bennett trying to justify the existence of the Republican Party to Wolf Blitzer of CNN. I have a lot of respect for Mr. Bennett and his views. He is a very decent human being regardless of ideology. What makes the whole commentary with Blitzer so pathetic, is who the former Secretary was actually responding to. Anyone care to guess? I didn’t think so. Glen (the moron) Beck that’s who. Beck was on one of his self-adulating and self-aggrandizing vomit inducing moments of political masturbation where he attacked (to my surprise) the Republican Party and Conservative Ideology. Go fucking figure…
So since the Redneck Wing of the Republican Party , has allowed this self-admitting former [maybe former] drug addict asshole [Glen Beck] to become such a “political force to be reckon with”; Mr. Bennett felt it was appropriate to clarify Beck’s negative commentary. A commentary re: the GOP’s conversion to Democratic ideology -according to Beck. After he [Beck] went threw a slew of FOXian ideological gibberish he concluded that the Republicans are not different than the Democrats. The Republicans, he claims, should first admit to their demise before they can fix it. Just like addicts - he said - you have to admit to the problem before you can deal with it. I know….I was surprised too. I thought to myself - is that GB I am listening to or am I dreaming? Well, fortunately I wasn’t dreaming, it was GB. It is so good to be part of history. Yes History. I think we are witnessing an Historic event. The implosion of the Republican Party. I can’t wait for that other moron…Rush Limbaugh to come out with his take on Beck’s comments. I am fucking laughing, I can’t control myself, please please, stop tickling me…I can’t handle it…it’s too good to be true…I died and went to heaven….there is a God after all I can see it now….bmfal!

Hate to tell you kong but a paranoid schizophrenic like Glen Beck does not carry much political weigh and does not represent Republican ideology. You are right he is a moron. Sorry I meant to say MORON. I am a registered Republican and believe me in the circles I socialize MORONS like Beck and Limbaugh are the post-dinner entertainment. We drink and make jokes about them. That would be the day when clowns like Rush and Beck are allowed to dictate policy and morality to the Republican party. Your reader Paul is absolutely right. The majority of us always make jokes about these guys. But I am getting tired of being painted over with the Rush/Beck brush just because I am a Republican. I wish the party leadership would do something about that. And while they are at it they should get rid of Palin too.
