A Genocide in the Making and the UN Again is sitting on the side lines.

The Syrian people are about to find out what the Jewish people found out 72 years ago. That is, the feeling of abandonment by the international community.  A community, which tends to fall into a complete moral coma and diplomatic paralysis, allowing mass murders and crimes against humanity to occur and go on with impunity. The UN, that despicable incompetent, useless quadriplegic organization whose only function since its inception is to waste billions of dollars every year on political fellatio; doing nothing accomplishing nothing other than having meetings and voting sessions ending in resolutions that are not binding, have no teeth and are not enforceable.  An organization whose only function is to illustrate to the rest of the world its political dysfunction and financial wastefulness.  It [UN] fits the lyrics of the Beatle’s song “The Nowhere Man” – so perfectly…

“He’s a real nowhere man,
Sitting in his Nowhere Land
Making all his nowhere plans

For nobody.”

The Syrian people are being butchered every day and all the outstanding members of the UN community can do, is have meeting after meeting after meeting and giving the world a whole lot of lip service while thousands are being killed by a mad dictator and his military.

This of course is nothing new.  The lessons of History are there for all to see…but like the “Nowhere Man”
“He’s as blind as he can be,
Just sees what he wants to see,
Nowhere Man can you see me at all?”

Since the UN seem to be suffering from old age dementia and geopolitical impotence, allow me to point out to you some spine chilling facts to remind you of how such indecisiveness by the International Community can result in mass killings and massacres by insane men like Bashar al Assad and the like.

I hope the following genocides can shine some light on events to come in Syria and make you stop and think if only for a brief moment, what the Syrian people are faced with.
