To any Democrat who was watching the Republican Leadership race last night one of two things should become obvious. One is, that last night’s results is a guarantee the Dems will remain the occupants of the White House, and two, the House will fall back into a Democratic control while  in the Senate the Democrats will increase their majority to an absolute one.

Obama would be well advised to stay the course and let the Re-pubics… [I think that’s a more fitting name than Republicans] fight it out until they are hemorrhaging so bad they will need to be put on life support. The bleeding has already began! Keep your eyes on Gingrich and Perry. The REAL mud-slinging is about to begin and Romney along with Santorum will need fire hoses to wash off the dirt thrown at them. The Republican campaign will give new meaning to the term Sudden Death Syndrome. Also let us not forget Ron Paul, who, in all his lack of wisdom and as disturbing as he may be, he is a Monty Pythonian fighter not willing to go down without taking everyone he can, down with him.

The Dems must be feeling very warm and fuzzy right now. The thought of Republican bloodletting has some orgiastic Bacchanalian sensation to it I must admit. Watching the GOP candidates debate each other and watching them humiliate one another in order to win the “I Am The Most Conservative” award, makes me laugh and cry at the same time. Laugh because they are the most idiotic bunch of people I have ever seen engage in public political discourse and cry because there is that remote possibility one of these weasels may actually become the next president of the United States.
Sometimes I wonder if these morons can hear themselves talk or if they actually have the slightest idea of what they are saying. Whatever the final results may be, one thing is for sure….the next six months are going to be a journalistic frenzy and a comedic mother lode.

This is obviously a case where Fearing The Worst Is A Better Incentive Than Hoping For the Best
