Americans and Europeans are starting to sound like the Nazis just before they took power in Germany. They needed something or someone to blame for their political and economic demises and they found it in the form of the “Jewish race”. It is a very well known human quality that when our own lives take a turn for the worst we tend to blame it on someone else. Hence, now, the Europeans and Americans are blaming this financial abyss…on whom? The Greeks of course. Instead of looking at our own socio-financial malignancies growing out of Wall Street – i.e. Goldman Sachs and their brethren – and instead of looking at our own socio-political aneurisms bursting out of Washington i.e. White House and Congress… we find it more appropriate and self-vindicatory even cathartic, to blame the Greeks and their appetite for the easy life, thus providing ourselves with “absolution” aka the Greek “contagion.” If we weren’t in such a global economic turmoil this would be funny. Little Greece has become the “David” who brought Europe the “Goliath” down. Give me a fucking break!
I want those of you who actually give a damn about the truth , to go to the link bellow watch and listen to the real causes of the “contagion”. You will see exactly why we are in the shit-hole we are in…and it has nothing to do with the Greeks or the Spaniards, the Italians, the Portuguese or the Irish. It has everything to do with our own Congressional perversion, Washingtonian complacency and Wall Street contortionism. After you digest all the info, please feel free to call your Congressman and Senator to ask them “why”.

J.T. I live in Florida and believe me they should be listening. The shit has already hit my state. We American have the tendency to think that we are so wealthy nothing can happen to us. To me Greece is mini mirror image of the U.S.A. economy. In fact as per capita personal debt we are in worst position. The P/C debt of Greece is about $22,000. Our P/C debt is about $55,000. So yes we should be listening.

America for ever! We can withstand anything. We proved it in 2007-2008our economy is growing by leaps and bounds. And so is our national debt, our national deficit, our unemployment, our poverty, our soup kitchens, our welfare #s our social dysfunction, our national disasters, our crime rate, our murder rate, our diseases, our youth crime our prisons and most of all our AMERICAN STUPIDITY. We know nothing and we understand nothing. Therefore we are on our way to becoming NOTHING.
