Yup, the Wall Street moguls, who, we the taxpayers bailed out of their fuck-ups; the same people whose larcenous behaviours and greed, brought the global economy to an almost total collapse; the same fuckers who took extraordinary risks with OUR money in order to fill THEIR pockets; yes those same s.o.b’s who should have been hang by the balls and upside down, are back and rejoicing in the fact, that the big bonuses will, once again start flowing their way. The big investment companies and big banks, are now eagerly paying back the money we loaned them (which is good), in order to be able to indulge, in the same unconscionable investment activities and exuberant pay-offs that screwed up the system in the first place…(which is bad). Soon, the “Halleluiah we’re back” cheers along with “executive pyjama” parties will become the NEW “OLD” reality. And we, the suckers of society, will be scratching our heads trying to explain that feeling of “dejavou” and that pain in our asses as we ask each other “…what the f…happened”?
As no substantive regulations have been legislated into law yet (thank the Republicans for that), all the old financial bordellos will, once again, be open for business. Yes my friends believe it or not Wall Street is having a party and we the Main Street are having a funeral. We are burying our jobs, our savings, our homes, our benefits and some times, even our marriages. What can we do you ask? Well, it’s like this. The optimists as always, will just sit back and hope for the best. The pessimists (myself included) will fear the worst and therefore try at least to do something. What that something may be, I don’t know yet. But rest assured something SHALL be done!
Again This Is not News…It’s Jungle Politics.
From The Desk Of Dr. Politikong …Over and Out!
I am just wondering who is going to bail their asses out next time. The republicans scream socialism when it comes to the government having a say into how the system works. But they don't have any problem crying to the government for help when they screw up. Trillion dollars in government intervention to bail these morons out of their mess is not exactly what I call capitalism.
ReplyDeleteGood points man. Something has to be done. Time to take the axes and the shovels and prep them for their burial!
You watch Pkong, I am telling you right now, unless we force executives and the people who receive these huge bonuses to publish their incomes so WE know where the money goes,in a years time these A-Holes we'll be asking the taxpayers for more money.
ReplyDeleteEmanuel,
Unemployed and broke!
I was a small business man with five employees and now I am unemployed. Lost my business to the banks. Why doesn't Mr. Obama help me get my business back?
ReplyDeleteI am voting independent next time.
